According to Variety, film “Godzilla ve Kong: Yeni İmparatorluk”, with a budget of $135 million, earned $37 million on the first day of release, surpassing analysts’ expectations.

The film received mediocre reviews, worse than the 2021 film “Godzilla vs. Kong” and much worse than the reviews received by the Japanese film “Godzilla minus one” three months ago. However, the audience decided differently.

Adam Wingard, who directed “Godzilla vs. Kong”, directed “New Empire”. The film starred Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, and Kaylee Hottle, as well as newcomers to the franchise Dan Stevens and Eiza González.
